Hasbro – Concepting & Games Writing
Working as an in-house conceptual copywriter at Hasbro gave me a fantastic opportunity learn the craft of games writing. My challenge was to concept, write, refresh the rules, and create taglines for some of the most well-loved games in history. From US Scrabble’s ‘Every Letter Counts’ tagline to writing shorter, quicker, more intuitive instructional copy for Monopoly. My main ownership was of Monopoly Junior, which needed some gameplay refreshing for a younger audience, and a new voice for each of the Junior tokens.
